Classics Megatron

Next one up is Megatron. This is the only Megatron I had ever wanted to get out of all the other after G1, simply because he can finally transform into a gun again after years and years of being.. something else. I got this KO for RM20.

Other than the weird head and different paintjob(which I thought was cool, btw), all other parts are exact copy of the original. It also has a nifty sound effect and blinking LED when a button on the search scope is pressed. After being impressed by Jin Saotome's cool custom (aren't we all?), I decided to try cramming in a pointer laser myself and to my surprise.. it worked :P

Nothing much to complain about this KO.. except that it has a horrible head and the joint between the torso and the pelvis is ridiculously small that I thought I might break it everytime I try to transform it..



Finally.. Megatron is a gun again..

Classics Starscream

Yup.. Another KO of the Classics series. Seems alot of KOs of this series available around Malaysia. Got this one for RM16. It looks pretty good in vehicle mode, hardly any difference from original, save from the lame Decepticon logo sticker.. ><;

Intro.. With Non Other Than.. Optimus Prime!

Hello.. This is a blog for my collection of my knock-off @ pirated Transformers toys collection that I've collected for the past few years. Some of them are good while some of them are REALLY bad.. Be warned though, some of these TF have been played to death by my 6 year-old kid brother, so I hope I can be excused for their poor conditions..><;

We'll start out with, of course, Optimus Prime. The leader of the Autobots. I found him in a shop that usually sells crappy KO toys near my house, so I thought it must have some weird color scheme or something else done to it.. but with a closer look, this OP looks rather decend.. and whats more, it comes with a near accurate-looking Ion Blaster, Energon Axe and Megatron(gun mode)! With it costing just RM12 (thats about US$3.70), I immediately grab it..







The paintjob is not done very well (a few smudges and cuts here and there), but I still think it looks nice. The vehicle mode looks really close to the old G1 animation, except for the, er, groin protector that had to be placed on top of the truck when transformed into vehicle mode..

The robot mode looks nice to except that it has very limited poseability due to his non-bendable hips and knees..:(

Unfortunately, his hands can't hold Megatron (gun mode) because the hole in his fist isn't big enough..

Overall, I liked this KO despite its lack of poseability. It looks simple and easy to transformed. Really reminds me back to the old G1 animation times..
